About The Chalker Collection, LLC
Julia doesn’t think of herself as a creative person, but she is always willing to try her hand at different things. When she tried Vintage Jewelry Art as a way to remember loved ones through doing something creative with their jewelry, she really hit on something big. She loved doing it and people loved buying it. Since we were both creating art, The Chalker Collection, LLC was born. We already do life together, why not do art together!
Buying art is important. Not because I sell it, but because you need beautiful things in your life. The world can be dark and negative. Art is a healing thing. Having inspiring items of gloriousness in your home to help you stay positive and healthy makes your world a brighter happier place.
When you buy art, you are not just buying into an artist’s vision of the world, it is also an expression of your vision. You are drawn to it because it connects with you in a personal way. It “speaks” to you. It is a part of your story too.
I would take my photographs whether anyone bought them or not. I offer them for sale so that others can share in the beauty and wonder of the world that is all around them. I am not here to express just my voice. I want to express your voice too.
Helping you connect with your present and past through fine art expression of the highest quality.

Mission
My mission is to continue to follow my passion with added vigor and purpose while connecting with others in a way that improves their lives and provides an outlet for their own vision. What I see in the images I create is secondary to giving a voice to others. Giving them the ability to visualize what they can only see in their heart and soul. I hope that I can give a voice to your vision as well.
Vision
Welcome! Whether you are an experienced art collector, or someone looking to purchase your very first original piece of art, I hope that you will find value here. Over my many years of working as a professional photographer and artist, I have come to realize in a very deep way that art is about your heart and soul connecting with the vision of the artist. While collecting/investing in art rightly focuses on the potential value and pedigree of the work, I believe it is also important to factor in your personal connection. Without it, art is really just pigment and paper.

Paper
Fine Art Paper is selected by the artist to best highlight the intrinsic qualities of the image.
Moab Slickrock Metallic Pearl (260 gsm, Pearlescent Metallic) – The smooth, glossy, metallic finish provides a unique lifelike, almost 3D quality to any image. Accentuates reflective and metal objects.
Hahnemühle FineArt Baryta Satin (300 gsm, 100% A-Cellulose, White, Satin) – The subtly textured, smooth base paper contains no optical brighteners and has a silky, smooth surface texture with a beautiful feel.
Moab Entrada Bright Rag (290 gsm, 100% Cotton, Bright White, Acid-Free) – An archival acid- and lignin-free paper with an expanded color gamut, natural contrast and a smooth surface.
Hahnemühle Bamboo (290 gsm, 90% Bamboo Fibre, 10% Cotton, Natural White, No OBA’s) – Made from 90% bamboo fiber and 10% cotton with a slightly textured matte natural white surface well suited for warm-toned images and monochrome prints
Hahnemühle Torchon (285 gsm, 100% A-Cellulose, Bright White, Rough Texture) – The term “torchon” is taken from the French and means “coarse structure”. The special surface texture of this bright white paper is a reminder of this. It can capture the timeless original beauty and three dimensionality of an artwork in its own special way.
